About Mill Park Campsite

Mill Park Campsite sits just outside Berrynarbor, offering a well-kept base for exploring Ilfracombe and the North Devon coast. The site spreads across two fields – one backing onto a fishing lake – with a mix of electric grass pitches, fully serviced hardstanding, camping pods and bell tents. Modern, spotlessly clean facilities keep things comfortable, and the on-site pub is a genuine bonus: good food at sensible prices without needing to trek off-site.

Staff are friendly and the whole place feels thoughtfully run. Dogs are welcome across most pitch types, and WiFi keeps you connected. It's a solid, no-fuss choice that ticks the practical boxes while giving you easy access to the beaches and coastal walks that make this corner of Devon so appealing.

Not as described on website. No shop selling local produce and freshly baked breakfast goods. Bar hardly ever open. No staff around at all, campsite like the Marie Celeste! ( Except for one surly guy who just had to mow all around our tent at 8:30 for an hour!) Showers and toilets quite nice. Washing machine £6 a load, and £1 / ten minutes for dryer. Over £10 to wash a dry a load, and only one machine. You check in online, which is efficient, but it means the reception is never open.

Enjoyed overall a little 3 night stay on a gravel serviced pitch here at mill park. - Good location for popping out and about in north Devon - Site is fairly tight - Great views of the fishing lake - Superb wash facilities (guessing a refurb has been done, great water pressure) Only downside really was that we were made to feel a little bit silly and naive by a member of site staff. We have been caravanning and camping with smaller freedom microlite and this was my first attempt with the Swift Basecamp and a couple of comments just made me feel a little let down. Nevertheless it was nice site, lovely location and great if you want to visit north Devon. 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Only downgraded as I was made to feel not quite as welcome at 1 point)

Just got back from a lovely relaxing stay at mill park camping and touring. We stayed on a grass pitch number 33 with electric hook up. The whole place was spotless the toilets where very modern and clean the pub onsite was very nice food wasn't bad the shop had most of the bits you may need .I enjoyed a spot off fishing here which was very pleasant. Location was great with plenty off different beaches close by. Staff were very friendly and always on the go emptying bin cutting grass keeping the grounds very neat and tidy. My wife and me had a amazing first stay will definitely be return 10/10

Nice camp site, just a word of warning if you're thinking of going there. The lake field pitches are extremely tight, most of them the access is so bad due to very narrow road and shrubs planted on the corners of the pitches. You will need a motor mover to get a caravan on most of them, I'm a hgv driver, I struggled with our twin axle although I did succeed in the end it was way more stressful than it should be!! On site facilities are modern and clean, shop doesn't stock much more than bare essentials. Bent peg pub on site is not open Mondays and Tuesdays even in high season. Site seems to be more geared up to the people who have seasonal pitches, which seems to be most of them! Never really saw any wardens, speeding through the site is a problem. A bit more thought on the way pitches are laid out, this site could definitely be next level. We had a nice stay, the drink in the Bent peg wasn't overly expensive and the food was good. Areas around the site pub and facilities are well kept and welcoming.
