Not as described on website. No shop selling local produce and freshly baked breakfast goods. Bar hardly ever open. No staff around at all, campsite like the Marie Celeste! ( Except for one surly guy who just had to mow all around our tent at 8:30 for an hour!) Showers and toilets quite nice. Washing machine £6 a load, and £1 / ten minutes for dryer. Over £10 to wash a dry a load, and only one machine. You check in online, which is efficient, but it means the reception is never open.

We had a great time as a group of 5 adults. We stayed at one of the belle tents with enough room for all of us. Tent was clean and aminities all in working order. Lakeside is a great view with ducks and ducklings. Campsite is nice and quiet and walking distance to a great beach view.

Nice location though road noise sometimes intrusive in bottom field. This was the only pitch we could book despite the top being nearly empty. Uses a premier parks logo on home page but it expired a few years ago. Clean and tidy and the pub was nice. Bus stops without leaving safe pavement as is the sawmill pub nearby. Lots and i mean lots of seasonal pitches taking all the lakeside parts up. We never saw a warden person the whole time. Recycling seemed to be in a yard with overflowing bins and dangerous spiky stuff everywhere. The dog walk is great but on a huge hill.
