What visitors say
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stonehaven Open Air Pool If joy could be bottled, Stonehaven would be selling it by the litre. I arrived under a sky so grey it looked like it had given up, but the moment I slipped into that gloriously warm 29°C seawater, I transformed instantly into a delighted sea otter. The locals were floating around like seasoned aquatic philosophers, travellers were grinning like they’d discovered Atlantis, and there I was — refusing to get out because the shallow‑end pumps were basically giving me a warm-water hug. The changing rooms? Cleaner than my own house (and I try, I really do). The reception and café staff? So friendly I briefly wondered if I’d wandered into a feel‑good movie. The price? Shockingly reasonable for the amount of happiness I extracted from that pool. Please go. Support this historic gem. And if you see someone bobbing around refusing to leave… it might be me.

Great place for the family, food was also fantastic, inflatable assault course comes out mid afternoon too, salt water and its warm.

Myself & the family went for a moonlight swim the other night and it was fantastic! Just being out under the night sky in the cozy warm water was incredible for the soul. Crowd singalong to The Killers was a surprise! 🤘🏻💚 Will definitely revisit and would highly recommend a visit, whether it’s day or night. 10/10 for the very cheesy chips! 😋

Great place. Nice people working there. Clean enough. Water nice and warmish. Just remember it's sea water. Nice food. Didn't have to wait for it too long. Toilets not too good. Very old and messy. I am fully aware of the fact that this building is listed and very old🙄. It's beautiful. It doesn't mean toilets have to be dirty and messy throughout the day. Apart from that lovely place and great fun.😉 That is why I gave 5 stars 😜
