About Furan GuestHouse

A garden and patio set Furan GuestHouse apart from many town-centre stays, giving guests a bit of outdoor space to sit out in beyond the usual guesthouse offering. The building itself has been welcoming visitors for some time, and it sits close to Culloden Battlefield, with Inverness itself just under two miles away.

Rooms are kept simple and comfortable rather than formal, with en-suite bathrooms, family rooms available, and drinks provided in the room. Breakfast is included, free WiFi runs throughout, and reception is staffed around the clock. Pets are welcome, and free parking is provided on site, which is useful given the setting outside the town centre.

Golf, fishing and entertainment can all be found nearby, along with a choice of pubs, bars and restaurants for evening meals. With Culloden Battlefield close at hand and Inverness a short journey away, Furan GuestHouse works well as a base for exploring the wider Highlands as much as the city itself.

Had a really lovely stay at this hotel. The rooms were quiet, comfortable, and very nicely kept. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always helpful with anything we needed. The breakfast room was cozy and inviting, and the breakfast itself was excellent — huge portions, perfectly made, and absolutely delicious. We even learned how to make perfect poached eggs while staying there, which was such a nice touch. We also really appreciated how dog friendly the hotel was, as dogs are made to feel very welcome here. Overall, a very relaxed and pleasant place to stay.

I can't say enough about how pleasant and enjoyable Jan made our stay in Inverness. She is the consummate and perfect host. She tells amazing stories, cares for her guests, provides accurate and extremely knowledgeable and helpful advice on what to do with your time in this area of Scotland (and beyond)! Of all of our Airbnb hosts she was my favorite for her kindhearted nature and Scottish charm. The accommodations are perfect, clean and everything you need for your time in Inverness.

Everything was absolutely perfect!! Nice beds, plenty of room and fantastic breakfast! We were a group of five friends and none of us could think of anything that wasn’t great with this place, wish we would have stayed here longer!

This couldn't have been a better stay! We were in Inverness for just a short stopover on our honeymoon and this house left nothing to be wanted. The rooms were cozy and very clean. The breakfast was absolutely FANTASTIC so much array and options. Awesome local lore reviewed by the mistress of the house. A manageable walking distance from town, great restaurants and pubs around. Limited parking in the city!
