Mile End Cottage
Highland
Mile End Cottage is a fully equipped stone croft, one of the few surviving examples near Inverness town centre. The property sits on a single ground floor, with essentials included: Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all covered. Everything you need for cooking is on hand—electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer mean you can prepare proper meals without fuss.
The layout spreads across a generous footprint. An open-plan main living area runs the width of the cottage with high ceilings that flood the space with light; at one end sits the modern kitchen and dining area, and at the other, a second sitting room with patio doors opening onto a secluded decking area furnished with a table and chairs. Two bedrooms—one with a kingsize bed, the other with two singles—and a bathroom with both bath and separate cubicle shower serve the four guests. There is parking for two cars on site, and an enclosed garden.
Inverness lies just over a mile away, with walks along the River Ness, restaurants, shops, theatres and a swimming pool among its attractions. Culloden Battlefield, Cawdor Castle and Urquhart Castle on Loch Ness are within reach for day trips. The nearest shop is 500 yards; a pub and restaurant 1 mile away. A beach lies 15 miles distant. No smoking is permitted in the property.
