Beach Cottage
Isle of Anglesey
Photo: Google Maps
Benllech sits on the north coast of Anglesey, facing across the water towards Puffin Island and the Great Orme. Beach Cottage is an upside-down layout that puts the living spaces on the first floor, where windows and a balcony catch views across the bay. The ground floor holds three bedrooms—a double, two singles, and a further single—plus a bathroom and separate toilet. One dog is welcome.
The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking: electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine, alongside a washing machine and tumble dryer. Downstairs there's an enclosed patio with seating; upstairs the balcony does the same. Fibre wifi, bed linen and towels are all provided, and the heating is electric central. Private parking for two cars is on site. The sandy beach itself lies just over a hundred yards away and is dog-friendly year-round. Smoking is not permitted indoors.
This part of Anglesey is protected as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and coastal paths run the length of the island. Golfers will find Storws Wen Golf Club roughly a mile and a half away, open to visitors throughout the year. Families with young children will find a travel cot, highchair and stairgate available.
