Benllech is a seaside village on Anglesey's east coast, and Sailfish puts you steps from the long sandy beach that fronts the bay. The cottage is an upside-down design with the main living space on the first floor, where an open-plan living and dining room has windows framing the water and Puffin Island beyond. Three bedrooms and a bathroom occupy the ground floor: one double of 4ft 6in, a second double of the same size, and a single. One bathroom serves the property.
The kitchen has what you need to cook properly—electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave and a washer-dryer—plus a courtyard garden with seating. Essentials like bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are included. Private parking fits two cars. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available if you need them. The property does not permit smoking, though one dog is welcome.
Benllech suits families drawn to beach time; the water is close enough that children can run down for a paddle between meals. A restaurant lies 100 yards away, shops 300 yards, and a pub 400 yards. Cycle routes cross Anglesey, and if you want to explore further, Beaumaris and its castle are a short drive, as are the watersports areas of Menai.
