Families and small groups will find Brookfield Cottage works well for a coastal break on Anglesey. The cottage sleeps five across two bedrooms—one with a king bed and one with a king plus a single—plus a bathroom upstairs. Downstairs, the living and dining space opens into a kitchen equipped for self-catering, with a gas fire for cooler evenings. A private car park and enclosed garden complete the setup. One dog stays free, and you have the whole place to yourselves.

The cottage sits in Tyn-y-Gongl, a short walk from the beach and close to shops, pubs and restaurants. The broader island offers 125 miles of coastline, coastal paths inland, South Stack Lighthouse, Beaumaris castle (a UNESCO site) and Puffin Island trips by boat at certain times of year. Whether you want a quiet week by the sea or days exploring Anglesey's landmarks and wildlife, there is enough to fill a stay. Essentials including Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are covered; bring what you need beyond that.

Loved it, can't say enough nice things about this place, close to beach, bakery, tesco, coop, takeaways, good base for other places, will definitely return. It is in a steep hill so bare in mind

Great property amazing views from the master bedroom pet friendly which is a massive plus and the owners are very friendly and always there to help very clean and cleanly very well laid out perfect location with only metres to walk to the beach also there are shops like Tesco coop or even spar close by with a range of takeaways too overall fantastic place and well worth the money 😁

Very clean and well maintained property, with a great proximity to the beach and local amenities. Lots of things in the house to use and do, and the milk/tea/coffee and Bara brith was a lovely touch! Also dog friendly which is a huge plus!! Would have been 5 stars, but unfortunately it's not disabled-friendly. We didn't realise when booking and were able to make adjustments, but just worth noting for anyone who isn't completely mobile. A member of our party has severe arthritis and it was difficult to lift them in and out of the bath tub, but otherwise wonderful in every sense!

Quirky cottage in great location only a short walk to a beautiful beach. Amazing sea views from bedrooms and family bedroom has great little alcove for the single bed. Parking space may present a challenge for a less confident driver but we managed to park our SUV. The bathroom layout is slightly awkward but all in all we had a lovely break and the host was amazing and able to help with any queries and also lovely welcome of Bara Brith fresh fruit and flowers.
