Rhoscolyn Head on the Isle of Anglesey is all dramatic coastline, heathland alive with seabirds, and the distant peaks of Snowdonia. Bwthyn Y Borth sits on the clifftops here, a whitewashed semi-detached cottage with uninterrupted views across the water and access to both the coastal path and a private stretch of shore 900 yards away. The ground falls away steeply in places, and a geological formation called the White Wheel is visible from the property.
Inside: two bedrooms (one double, one with twin singles) and a bathroom with walk-in shower on the first floor; a living and dining room with woodburner and TV, a kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher and microwave, and a utility room on the ground floor. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included, as are initial logs for the fire. There is private parking for two cars and a bike store. The property is not suitable for children under 14 due to the open clifftops and steep access points, and does not permit smoking.
A pub and restaurant are half a mile away on foot across the cliffs. The RSPB reserve at South Stack Lighthouse is 7 miles distant. The beach at 900 yards is walkable; shops are 2½ miles. The area draws people for coastal walking, cove exploration, surfing and sea fishing.
