Stayed with the family for several years. The cottage is clean and has everything we need for our visit. Great location! We would always recommend!

Wonderful peaceful and relaxing stay in the Granary that surpassed our expectations. The beautifully presented cottage was fully equipped with everything needed and had picture perfect views from every window. We took advantage of the array of games provided and spent lots of time exploring The House in the Yard grounds with our dogs. We even spotted a couple of Red Squirrels at play in our garden a few times during our 4 night stay. No one could fail to wind down in such an idyllic location and we will definitely return soon. We had a fantastic bank holiday weekend stay in Anglesey with our family, including our three young girls. We stayed at The Farmhouse, which is a beautiful property that feels wonderfully old and cosy, yet is thoughtfully designed with all the modern amenities you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The grounds are amazing, with acres of space for the girls to run around and play freely. They absolutely loved the treehouse and the swing, it really made their trip unforgettable. They also really enjoyed the wildlife, with bunnies appearing in the garden and sheep wandering in the nearby fields. We were also very lucky with the sunshine, which made it even more enjoyable. The location is ideal for exploring the area, with Newborough Beach just a 15-minute drive away, perfect for family days out. We also made the most of the location by visiting Beaumaris Castle and the South Stack Lighthouse, both of which were highlights of the trip. A particular treat was picking up the famous doughnuts from the last surviving windmill in Wales (Melin Llynon)! Our girls didn’t want to leave and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the trip. We would highly recommend the property and would definitely love to visit again, perhaps for longer than just a weekend. A big thank you to our wonderful hosts, Delyth and Noel, for making our stay so special!

We have recently returned from a fabulous autumn week in Anglesey, staying at The Granary. It’s a beautiful property with tons of space both inside and out. We loved the layout and were impressed with how warm the underfloor heating was. We didn’t need to use the log burner as it was so warm and toasty inside. We enjoyed the enclosed garden as much as our dog did and we sat on the patio most mornings with a cuppa, listening to the birds or wrapped up at night listening to the owls. Having the meadow and woods on the back was a real bonus for the dog to explore. The location was ideal, just a couple of miles from Newborough beach (though no where is very far away). The house was a great place to hang out and relax whether we decided to have a lazy morning or an evening in. It was more than a base from which to explore the island. I’d highly recommend The Granary to anyone and especially to the four legged members of the family. If we return to Anglesey, this is where I’ll be looking to stay.
