Aberffraw sits on the western coast of Anglesey, surrounded by meadows and open countryside that rolls towards Snowdonia. The Gatehouse is a rural cottage on high ground here, positioned to catch views across the coast and towards the mountains beyond. The village itself—a short walk away—has a shop, post office and pub within easy reach, while the sandy beach and the Church in the Sea at Llangwyfan are nearby, and walks begin from the doorstep.
The property sleeps four across two bedrooms: downstairs, two single beds; upstairs, a double. There are two bathrooms, one with a bath and shower, one with a shower cubicle. The living room has a wood burner (fuel included to get you started), Freeview television and DVDs. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine. Heating, electricity, bed linen and wi-fi are provided. Parking for two cars is on site.
One dog is welcome and can stay with you, provided it remains on a lead—this is sheep country. The property does have narrow and steep stairs in places. Check-in is after 15:00 and checkout before 10:00. No smoking inside.
