Ty Glan Mor (The Beach House)
Isle of Anglesey
View on Google MapsOn Anglesey's north coast, between Beaumaris and Bangor, this single-storey pine lodge sits in open countryside with direct access to the beach via a few steps down. The Menai Straits stretch out before it, with Snowdonia visible across the water. Seabirds, porpoises and occasional seals pass through the waters offshore. A rough track leads to the property; there is parking for cars and a boat trailer on site.
The whole ground floor is open-plan, with a living area that has a woodburner and French doors opening onto a verandah, a separate dining space, and a kitchen equipped for full self-catering. Two bedrooms—one double, one with two singles—and a shower room complete the layout. Bed linen, electricity and Wi-Fi are included; fuel for the woodburner is available locally. The large garden is not fully enclosed. No smoking.
Beaumaris, two miles away, offers a castle, shops, restaurants and boat trips to Puffin Island. This property suits families or small groups who want to walk straight onto the beach.
