Tyn Towyn - Ty Piws
Isle of Anglesey
Tyn Towyn is a holiday development of beautifully finished, self catering holiday cottages, on the west coast of Anglesey. It is just a few minutes' walk from one of the prettiest beaches on Anglesey in Trearddur Bay. There is so much to do in this part of North Wales - walking along the Coastal Path, sailing, golfing, bird watching or just relaxing - and it's all on your doorstep. "One of eight fabulous properties set around a courtyard. Each cottage is individual with carefully chosen art, great living spaces, and gleaming bathrooms. A perfect retreat central for Trearddur Bay." Ty Piws (âPurple House'), named after the striking colour of its door, is my favourite holiday cottage at Tyn Towyn. On both sides of the lovely sitting room are large floor-to-ceiling windows which let the sunshine flood in. The holiday cottage is both modern and cosy, and has been furnished with a great deal of care - from the comfy custom-made sofas to the individual soft furnishings.
