About Roseland Holiday Park
Perched on Canada Hill above Rothesay, Roseland Holiday Park commands sweeping views across the bay to the Cowal hills and distant sea lochs – one of the best vantage points on the Clyde coast. The site welcomes tents, caravans and motorhomes on a mix of grass and hardstanding pitches, plus a small cluster of glamping pods for those travelling light. Rothesay itself is a short walk or drive down the hill, putting the ferry terminal, shops and restaurants within easy reach. The park makes a useful base for exploring the rest of Bute, with Ettrick Bay, Mount Stuart House and Loch Fad all nearby. The elevated position means some exposure to wind, so bring sturdy pegs and guy lines, but the trade-off is those far-reaching coastal views.
