Admirals Cottage

Admirals Cottage works well for couples or small families wanting a base near Yarmouth Harbour. The ground floor has a living room with a wood-burning stove and a kitchen-diner fitted with a full range of appliances including a dishwasher. There's a shower room on this level. Upstairs, one bedroom contains a double bed with an ensuite bathroom, while the second has twin singles. The second bathroom serves both floors. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all provided, and there's an enclosed courtyard garden with seating.

Yarmouth itself is within a short walk, with the ferry dock, shops, pubs and restaurants all nearby. The 16th-century castle guards the harbour entrance, and the Grade II listed pier offers views across the Solent and is popular with anglers. The western side of the island puts you within reach of the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, including the Needles and the coloured sands at Alum Bay. The beach is half a mile away. The property does not allow smoking, and there are steep spiral stairs to be aware of.
