It was our first stay at Tom’s Eco Lodge. We were in modulog 4 at the end of the row. It was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful views out across the fields to the coast with an amazing sunsets! We have a 5 and 2 year old who absolutely loved exploring the camp site and the farm (you can get into the farm park an hour early in the AM which made them feel very VIP!). We are not campers (at all) so I was a bit nervous about the trip being organised and comfortable. The team there are so lovely and helped with anything / everything we needed. It was the perfect balance of nature and convenience for me. The beds are all comfy and you have bedding and towels provided. The modulog was great with the mini kitchen and nice, hot shower. We brought our own food and also ordered their BBQ hamper (half veggie options) which was excellent. The outdoor tub was honestly magical, so much better than the normal hot tubs with bubbles which can be so noisy and disturbing. This was like an outdoor bath but you could get it piping hot and the cover kept it so warm and insulated. We loved it of an evening. Also a perfect example of how the team genuinely stay true to their eco/ sustainability credentials without compromising on luxury. In terms of the area and IOW, the farm is so great for young kids and we also did the footgolf course. We visited Compton Bay which was great for fossil hunting, the local beach at Freshwater was lovely too. We also did the Botanical Gardens where there is a little coastal path down to Steephill Bay(- go the Crab Shed!). There is a great “Things to do” guide in the pod which I felt had been really well curated. We felt we successfully swerved the tourist crowds and enjoyed the nature and hidden gems of the island. We will absolutely be back as felt there was loads more for us to explore. The weather was incredible for us, but I think it would also be really cosy in the autumn/ winter. Thanks to all the team for a truly relaxing stay.

Beautiful, Peaceful Eco Cabin. It was a lovely location and a cute little cabin. The booking process was amazing, really friendly and so helpful! It was really easy with them to book. I had a great time there. The little outside fire pit was great with unlimited wood & bits you needed. Amazing presentation on arrival. I would have given it 5 stars but a few small things let it down. The cutlery and utensils were all dirty and we had to rewash them before they could be used. There was a funky smell in the bath room but that did leave after we run the shower. All in all a great time. We would 100% go again.

We had such a wonderful time here last weekend. We are a family with two very high energy young children aged 2 and 5 so it is nothing short of a miracle that we both actually felt relaxed after our stay here! The place was perfect for kids, they had so much fun running around, visiting the play farm. Family meals at the outdoor table, whether it was breakfast or a BBQ, was really special with the view over the hills to the sea. And the evenings in the hot tub after kids in bed were wonderful. We had a meal in the cow pub, sitting at an outdoor table and being able to relax and enjoy our meal while kids ran around the colourful cow sculptures. I hesitated to book because it is more than I would usually spend but it was worth every penny. The local area has family friendly and beautiful beaches nearby. I would highly recommend to families with young children, it is really the first holiday with them where we actually got to relax!

Just back from a few days stay here and honestly cannot fault anything about our stay. As a family we've stayed in many places which claim to cater for families ( including some of the best 5* ones but this is by far the best yet ). They have thought of everything especially for little ones (including the toilet seats!) and for parents it is these little details - plus the fact the setting is so very beautiful and super safe - which make a holiday SO enjoyable & relaxing (not something you can often say with a toddler in tow!) It is the perfect destination not just for families, I'd happily return just with my husband or with a group of friends for an escape or special occasion - it is so well located for local restaurants, activities (Tapnell Farm Park is brilliant!) and great beaches plus only 10 minutes from the Ferry port. A particular shout out to both Chloe & Amanda who ensured the everything was perfect and responded to any of our needs day or night before & during our stay - THANK YOU! We will be returning.
