The property sits on the waterfront with views across the River Medina towards the Solent, where ferries and yachts move constantly. A chain ferry operates from nearby, connecting you across the water to Cowes itself—a short crossing to reach the town's shops, restaurants and maritime buzz. The beach at East Cowes is half a mile away, and local amenities including a shop, pub and restaurant are all within walking distance.

The cottage is arranged over two floors. Downstairs has a king bedroom and a bunk room, plus a bathroom with shower over the bath. Upstairs, the living and dining spaces open onto two balconies positioned to capture the river views—the main reason to spend time here. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, and essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included. You have private parking for one car and the whole property to yourself. One small dog is welcome.

Anchor Cottage suits people who want to be by the water and don't mind the activity that comes with a working waterfront. Children are fine but need supervision given the location.
