What visitors say
Conveniently located a few minutes drive from East Cowes the touring pitches are on terraces with great views of Southampton Water. Lovely sunsets and always something of interest on the water. All the hardstanding pitches are serviced with 10A electricity. 'The Waverley' serves food and drink of an evening, prices are average and the staff are very pleasant both here and in reception. The only slightly negative thing about the site is that it has a distinct down at heel feel to it. Everywhere you look its just a bit scruffy. The showers are clean with plenty of hot water but in need of a makeover. The grass on the pitches are unkempt and it wouldn't take a lot of effort to get it looking really nice. There's a full size Waitrose less than 10 minutes walk away in the town centre plus cafes, pharmacy etc. We can recommend 'The Lifeboat' about ten minutes out of town. Osborne House is an easy half hour walk too. Cowes via the floating bridge has much to see and plenty of good stops for food and varied shops. On the whole we would definitely recommend this site and if we return to the island will try and stay here.

A wonderful family run resort. The caravans are clean and well equipped, the staff are friendly and welcoming. The location is fantastic with fabulous views of passing ships and a lovely promenade and walking distance into East and West Cowes by chain link ferry. We absolutely love Waverley and highly recommend this holiday Park.

It’s a camping and static caravan location. There are I’d guess 50-70 large static caravans that can be rented by the night. There are also around 20 relatively level gravel pitches all serviced with electric hook up and water. We stayed there three nights in early June. Unfortunately the weather was awful but I won’t blame that on this site. The Waverley has a large restaurant / bar serving meals 6-9pm. We had two meals and two drinks that cost £45. Food quality was excellent. There’s also a heated outdoor pool and a small children’s play area.

Stayed here may bank holiday week. Unbelievable site! Everything you need. The staff are super friendly. The views are amazing. Easily one of the best holiday parks we've visited. Will be back.
