Skipper’s Rest

Skipper's Rest is a character cottage in East Cowes with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeping four. The ground floor holds two living spaces—one with a smart TV and open fire, the other quieter—plus a kitchen with electric oven and gas hob for self-catering, and a shower room. Upstairs, bedroom one has a double bed and ensuite bathroom with both bath and shower; bedroom two contains two single beds. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered, and one dog stays free.

A back garden with seating area and furniture provides an outdoor retreat. The house sits in a residential neighbourhood within a mile of the coast, so beaches are easily reached. Nearby you'll find Osborne House, Queen Victoria's former residence with Italianate architecture and formal gardens. East Cowes itself has pubs, restaurants and a play park on the esplanade. On-road parking is available and no smoking is permitted inside.
