Brixton Barn
Isle of Wight
Through the front door you step into a generous living and dining space with French doors opening onto an enclosed, lawned garden. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and all the essentials—while upstairs the kingsize bedroom has an ensuite with bath and shower. Underfloor heating runs through the ground floor, and electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included in your stay.
This converted barn once served as a National Trust office. It sits in Brighstone village, with a pub and restaurant within half a mile and a shop just as close. The Heritage Coast begins 1.5 miles away, popular with walkers and offering access to marked trails, beaches and coves. Yarmouth, the island's main town, has shops, restaurants and a quay where buses connect to attractions like Osborne House and Calbourne Watermill. The Needles and various watersports venues are also within reach for a day out. The nearest beach is 3.5 miles away.
Note: the property has open, steep, narrow spiral stairs. Smoking is not permitted.
