Elm Cottage

Elm Cottage comes fully set up for a week away. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher and washing machine, so you can cook properly or take things easy. A woodburner in the dining room is ready to use with initial logs included. Wifi, heating, bed linen and towels are all covered. The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms—a kingsize, a double, and two singles—with two bathrooms including a bath and separate shower cubicle. Downstairs there's a living room with a smart TV and a shower room. Outside, you get private parking for two cars and an enclosed courtyard with garden furniture. One pet stays free of charge.

The location sits in the Undercliff, a distinctive stretch between cliff and sea that creates its own microclimate. Ventnor town, roughly two miles away, has Victorian seafront character: tea shops, pubs, restaurants and shops line the esplanade, and there's a children's paddling pool in the park. The coastline opens onto beaches and coves including Woody Bay and Steephill. Walking routes follow the coastal paths in both directions. The area suits families, groups of friends, and anyone wanting direct access to the island's outdoor activities—cycling, horse riding, fishing, water sports and golf are all readily available nearby. The cottage doesn't allow smoking indoors. Check-in is after 15:00 and checkout before 10:00.
