High Tide

High Tide sits at Island Harbour Marina, where the River Medina widens into moorings and tidal water. The cottage is a short walk from Cowes town centre and Newport, with immediate access to meadows and woodland that slope down to the marina's edge. A nature trail runs through the site, and the surrounding area is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty—home to various bird species and wildlife.

The property sleeps five across two bedrooms: a double on the ground floor with its own shower cubicle and toilet, and three single beds upstairs with a separate bath and toilet. The ground floor also contains a living room with a 50-inch Freeview Smart TV, a kitchen with electric cooker and microwave, and a utility room with washing machine. A small enclosed courtyard opens from the property. There is parking for two cars on site, and wi-fi is included. Bed linen and towels are provided, as are electricity and heating. No smoking indoors. The property is not suitable for children under 5 years old, as there are steps in the courtyard and an unfenced pond within the shared grounds.

From here you can walk the riverside cycle path toward Newport's shops and restaurants, or explore further afield—The Needles, Alum Bay and various island attractions are all within reach by car. Boat moorings can be arranged with the marina directly if you arrive by water.
