What guests say
We stayed here for one night and had a lovely experience. It’s a cosy and welcoming little hotel, with a pub on the ground floor and guest rooms upstairs. The location is excellent—just across the street from Osborne House, and with a bus stop right outside, making it very convenient to get around the island. The breakfast was delicious, the room was clean, comfortable, and all of the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The only minor downside is that there may be live performances in the pub. However, on the night we stayed, the music finished between 10 and 11 pm, which was acceptable for us and did not affect our sleep. I couldn’t find a place to leave a review on Booking, so I decided to leave my review here instead. Overall, this is a great place to stay.

Rooms are small, the beds are very old. The showers should be cleaned a bit better, as there is mould everywhere. The biggest problem is the location. The POW is located next to a busy road which comes from the red funnel into the island, on hot days the rooms are really hot, but is you open the window it is like sleeping next to a highway.. Breakfast is fine. And as the othet reviews state food is probably fine all day. Just don't sleep in the POW.

We come in on a Saturday for breakfast. Very nicely cooked. Food was good. But thinking staff could have been more friendly breakfast comes with coffee. Not the best coffee.

The Prince of Wales Hotel is a very nice hotel with heaps of history. Food is excellent, service excellent, staff very welcoming and ready to help in anyway possible to make your stay perfect. The location couldn’t be better just 15 minute walk from Osbourne House and has a bus stop adjacent.

Some reviews mention the service can be abrupt.
