Loreto

Loreto is a substantial stone cottage on the Isle of Wight's western side, built with the solidity of an earlier era. The property sits within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, putting you within reach of the Heritage coastline and established walking routes. The garden occupies different levels across the site, with steps and slopes running through it; this is worth noting if you have mobility concerns or young children.

The three bedrooms sleep four: two singles and one double bed. Both bathrooms are on the ground and first floors respectively—one with a bath and shower, one with a shower cubicle. Downstairs, the living room has an open fire (initial fuel supplied), Freeview TV and DVD player, plus French doors opening to the garden. The dining room also has garden access. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, with a gas oven, hob, dishwasher and washing machine. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included. You can park two cars on site, with additional on-road parking available.

A summerhouse in the enclosed garden holds a pool table, dartboard and games—useful for indoor entertainment. The decked area, seating and barbecue make it suitable for families wanting a self-contained break. One dog stays free. Shops are three-quarters of a mile away; a pub is a mile distant. Smoking is not permitted.
