Families and small groups will find Priory Barn works well for a coastal break. The converted barn has two double bedrooms on the ground floor – one with an additional single bed and day bed – plus a sofa bed upstairs, giving flexible sleeping arrangements for five people. One bathroom serves the property, along with a separate toilet. A dog is welcome to stay with you.
Upstairs, the open-plan first floor combines a living area with dining space and kitchen. You can cook proper meals with a full range of appliances including dishwasher and washing machine. Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. The property has its own parking for two cars and an electric car charging point (charges apply). Outside, a lawned garden and patio with seating overlook the owner's grounds. A bike store is available if you're planning to explore by pedal.
Freshwater sits in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, roughly a mile from Totland Bay, where restaurants, pubs and a café line the seafront. The Tennyson Monument and Headon Warren – known for views towards The Needles – are nearby. No smoking is permitted inside.

Thank you, wonderful hosts Loraine and Brian! We had such a great, long weekend at Priory Barn with my husband’s parents for Mother’s Day and more. We were blessed with perfect weather which made it all the more special. From the exceptionally warm welcome to the incredibly cosy, homely surroundings we were settled in no time, enjoying the balcony and birdsong (literally the only thing you can hear! It’s so peaceful!). Nothing was unthought of, from the delicious welcome hamper (including Prosecco!), fully equipped kitchen, spotless rooms and much more (my husband loved the jacuzzi bath!!!), you only need bring yourselves and your personal essentials to have the most comfortable experience as soon as you arrive. An extra bonus was the EV charger too, so we didn’t have to worry about that side of things either! Big love to Muffin the mega friendly Spaniel too. So adorable! She visited us from time to time to let us know how proud of her patch she was! A hidden gem on the island. Definitely consider a stay! We loved it. Thanks again!
