Tennyson Cottage

Tennyson Cottage is a two-bedroom property sleeping four, laid out across two floors. Downstairs you'll find a living and dining room with French doors opening onto an enclosed garden, a kitchen with electric oven and gas hob, and a separate toilet. Upstairs are two bedrooms—a double and a twin—plus a bathroom with bath and shower. The cottage includes wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels; there's also a washer dryer for longer stays and secure parking for one car on site.

The village of Freshwater sits within walking distance, with shops, supermarkets, cafes and a leisure centre nearby. Freshwater Bay itself is a mile away, a pebble beach backed by high cliffs, with the Tennyson Trail walking route starting from there and leading inland to the monument and beyond towards Alum Bay and the Needles. Freshwater Golf Club sits above the cliffs on the west coast. Yarmouth is a ten-minute drive, and the Needles—the island's most visited spot—is accessible by car with ample parking. The garden has a shed for storing up to two adult bikes and a child's bike, making it suitable for cycling trips. No smoking is permitted inside.
