About Kegworth Hotel & Conference Centre
Seventy rooms make Kegworth Hotel & Conference Centre a sizeable base on Packington Hill, just outside Kegworth in Leicestershire, and its proximity to East Midlands Airport is the main reason most guests pass through. Whether travelling for business or catching an early flight, the free on-site parking and airport transfer options take the hassle out of getting to and from the terminal.
Rooms are straightforward and comfortable, with the practicalities covered rather than any particular flourish. A restaurant and bar handle meals and evening drinks, breakfast is served on site, and free WiFi is available throughout. The hotel also has a lift, luggage storage and a laundry service, useful for anyone breaking up a longer journey or staying a few nights before or after travel.
Conferences and events are clearly part of the hotel's bread and butter, with function space geared towards meetings, and the same facilities extend to weddings. There's a garden for a bit of outdoor space between sessions or before dinner. It's a functional choice rather than a destination in itself, suited to travellers who need somewhere reliable close to the airport.
