About Holiday Inn Kenilworth Warwick

Warwick Castle is within easy reach of the Holiday Inn Kenilworth Warwick, making this a handy base for exploring the area, and the surrounding streets offer pubs, restaurants and a nearby golf course for those who fancy a round while they're in the area. The hotel itself sits centrally in Kenilworth, a convenient starting point whether you're here for sightseeing or business.

The hotel has 115 rooms across seven floors, including family and accessible options, all with en-suite bathrooms. There's a restaurant on site along with a Starbucks, a bar, and room service for anyone who'd rather stay in for the evening. Breakfast is well regarded, and staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, which goes some way to offsetting reports that some rooms could do with better upkeep and that air conditioning isn't always reliable.

Beyond the rooms, guests have access to a gym, meeting rooms and business facilities, a garden with outdoor seating, and laundry and luggage storage services. Pets are welcome, and on-site parking is available for a charge. It's a straightforward, well-placed option for visiting Kenilworth and the wider Warwick area.

The location was great for what we needed (Talisman Theatre) and the room was spacious and clean. We are aware the weather is exceptionally hot, but although aircon is installed, it is not working. We asked at reception and were sharply told 'We do not have aircon' We were supplied with one desk fan, yet there are no plugs anywhere near the bed. The first room we were allocated the curtains were wide open, and the fan was off, it felt about 50 degrees in there. When we put the key card in the electric slot, the desk light was arcing and flashing, so we returned to reception and they allocated us another room. This one thankfully the curtains were drawn and the fan running, but it was still easily over 30 degrees, the window opened just 1 inch. I thought about cooling my face with the hairdryer on cold, and had a shock to find it was damaged, as it made an awful noise and smelt of burning. There was no note to say do not use, and we found another one in a drawer so they obviously knew about it. We tried to call reception to ask for an extension lead for the fan, and no information by the phone how to contact them, so we went down and were told everyone was asking the same and he is still trying to find 5 fans! The lad on reception was great though and quickly brought an extension lead, that didn't work....2nd time lucky though he found one after trapsing down again, but it made no difference, just blowing the hot air around. There was a fire alarm test at 7.45 in the morning, which we had not been warned about, so that was a huge shock after very little sleep. Breakfast had a good choice, and the staff were polite, but it needed refreshing, the eggs all looked like they had been there hours! During cooler weather I expect it woukd have been a much better experience.

What keeps bringing us back to a hotel is rarely the building itself, it's the people who make you feel welcome each time you arrive. This was our third stay here, and once again we were greeted with the same warmth, courtesy, and genuine care that has made our previous visits so enjoyable. The team specially Mac and is manager Tom are consistently professional, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. Nothing ever feels like too much trouble, and there is a sincere effort to ensure guests are comfortable throughout their stay. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is friendly and welcoming, which makes a real difference after a long day of travel. It is refreshing to experience service that feels personal rather than routine. We have thoroughly enjoyed each of our visits and already find ourselves looking forward to returning again soon. Thank you to everyone for making every stay such a pleasant and memorable one. Chopras Room No 215

I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn, which turned out to be the perfect choice for my business trip. The Wi-Fi was very reliable, making it easy to work both from my room and the common areas downstairs. The location is ideal, especially for solo female travelers, with several good dining options just a short walk away. The hotel’s restaurant and bar are simple but comfortable, perfect for a quiet nightcap or a quick meal. The staff were consistently professional and polite, and housekeeping did a thorough job servicing the room daily. I stayed on the 5th floor and enjoyed a great view. Despite the hotel being fully booked, it was impressively quiet throughout my stay. While Holiday Inn isn’t a luxury hotel, it delivers exactly what you’d expect: a clean, practical, and comfortable experience that’s ideal for business travel.

The hotel is very old and in very poor condition. The room and hallway are also very old. The room is extremely hot. The air conditioning does not work at all, but the room was advertised as an air-conditioned room. The fridge also does not work. The controls have been removed, so we cannot even keep our drinks cold. I already spoke to reception. They could only give us two fans. The window cannot be opened either. I paid £109 for this room because it was advertised as having air conditioning. I do not understand why I should pay £109 for an air-conditioned room when the air conditioning does not work at all. I will provide photos as evidence.
