About Chesford Grange Hotel

Chesford Grange has operated as a hotel since 1938 and today occupies extensive landscaped grounds at Kenilworth, a few miles from both Warwick and Coventry. The hotel mixes traditional and more contemporary room styles across its wings, and its scale makes it a regular venue for weddings, conferences and golf breaks as well as leisure stays.

An on-site leisure club with pool, gym and treatment rooms gives guests something to do beyond sightseeing, and the hotel's restaurant and bar cover straightforward, dependable menus suited to families and groups. The grounds themselves, with mature trees and lawns, offer a quiet contrast to the hotel's busier conference and events side.

Kenilworth Castle is a short walk from the hotel, while Warwick Castle, Royal Leamington Spa and Stratford-upon-Avon are all within around fifteen minutes by car, making Chesford Grange a practical, well-located base for a Warwickshire trip that also wants a swimming pool and a bit more space than a town-centre hotel can offer.

Hotel is good overall. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was okay but it was a shower over the bath which I never prefer. The bar and resturaunt area were nice and well done. Food and drink were to a good standard. The spa really lets the facility down. It is small and dated and could do with a refresh. The staff were lovely on dealing with them. I would recommend overall but I would not come for a spa break given those facilities were not great in my view.

Chesford Grange Hotel is generally well reviewed as a **large country house hotel offering spa facilities, events space, and easy access to Warwick and Kenilworth**. It is particularly popular for leisure breaks, weddings, conferences, and spa stays. Many guests praise the **setting and building**, describing it as an attractive historic property with landscaped grounds that create a peaceful, countryside feel despite being close to major roads and towns. The hotel is often seen as a convenient base for visiting Warwick Castle, Stratford-upon-Avon, and the surrounding area. The **spa and leisure facilities** receive mixed-to-positive feedback. Many guests enjoy the pool, sauna, steam room, and treatment options, describing them as relaxing and well maintained. Spa days are a common highlight, though some reviewers mention that the spa can feel busy during peak times. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Deserved 5+ stars! (Having air conditioning in the room in the summer is heaven! 😁) After an awful experience at another hotel that couldn’t provide us with the room we had already booked, we called Chesford Grange Hotel at around 11 pm to see if they had any rooms available. Thankfully, they did, and we headed straight over. Dean and the other staff gave us such a warm welcome from the moment we arrived. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and made us feel at ease after what had been a really stressful evening. Their kindness and professionalism made a huge difference. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and I finally had a great night’s sleep! A huge thank you to Dean (Superstar!) and the whole team for helping us out and making us feel so welcome. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
