Great little campsite. It's perfect for a quiet stay at the foot of skiddaw and just a 20 mins drive from Keswick. The facilities were great, and each pitch area was the perfect size for either a large family tent, or a small one man tent. Each pitch has a fire pit which we made use of, and having an honesty shop with lots of things to buy was a good addition, especially if you forget anything. The staff were friendly and showed us where everything was on arrival. Being able to access the public right of way from the campsite was ideal for us. Will definitely be staying here again and would recommend to anyone.

Amazing campsite that go the extra mile! Arrival process was easy. Pitch where ever there is a fire pit, plenty of space between tents. Even on a bank holiday weekend it didn't feel busy. Owners are kind and helpful. Even told us about the best way to Skiddaw. Another amazing perk of this campsite, completed 13 Wainwrights right from campsite, no need to drive anywhere! Bathrooms were clean throughout, showers hot and good pressure. Plenty of other facilities including washing machine, wash up stations, freezer for ice packs and a little honesty box shop with all your essentials. I love the attention to detail; positive affirmations written on the walls, an information bored with so many suggestions of things to do even for rainy days! Several maps and signs. The highlight for me has to be the chickens and ducks. Although be careful when cooking, the chickens will steal your food (even butter from the frying pan!) they aren't shy 😆 The only feedback I would have is only one shower in the men's which was a bit tricky when it was busy and shower area is a little cramped (in the ladies at least). But overall amazing stay, great value and we will definitely be back!

Most friendly campsite in Keswick, the owner is so lovely and gave us great recommendations for paddle boarding spot. Clean facilities and a big shelter available near tents which is perfect for the rain. Generally just great vibes would recommend!

Amazing campsite, ran by super friendly and helpful people, the location is idyllic, set at the foot of Skiddaw, on site shop is well equipped with all your needs and at a great price too, the toilet/shower block is nice and clean, there’s a laundry area, washing up space and even an honesty shop for all your needs when reception is closed. Lovely clean site with plenty of fire pits dotted around. The price to book it was really reasonable too. I will definitely return 100%
