Adults-only B&B on Helvellyn Street in Keswick with a hearty breakfast, en-suite rooms and free parking for Lake District walkers.
About Rivendell Guest House
Breakfast is the proper start to the day at Rivendell Guest House, a small adults-only B&B on Helvellyn Street in Keswick. Guests get en-suite rooms with drinks provided, and there's outdoor seating for relaxing before or after a day on the fells, with 24 hour reception on hand whenever you arrive.
Rooms are comfortable and straightforward, with free WiFi throughout and family rooms available for those travelling together, though the adults-only policy means it suits couples and groups rather than those with children. Free on-site parking makes it easy to come and go without worrying about the car.
Keswick itself is well placed for exploring the Lake District, with walking and cycling routes on the doorstep and golf, fishing, horse riding and watersports all nearby for those wanting more active days out. A pub, bar and several restaurants sit close by for evenings out, making Rivendell a practical base for a Cumbria stay.

We had a wonderful experience. Jo was so pleasant and accommodating to our family. The room was perfect for 2 adults and 1 child. Breakfast was delicious! Location is great. It was nice to be able to walk into town for dinner and drinks.

I stayed at this Amazing little Guest house for one night before I headed home and I was welcomed by The Amazing Jo who straight away made me feel like I was a Friend coming to stay.. The room was made available way before the allotted check in and I was able to have a rest after just finishing a Night shift.. Breakfast! Well I can't believe how Fresh and piping hot it was and it is definitely worthy of The Breakfast Award.. I Will definitely be returning when I get the opportunity.. Jo! Keep up the Amazing work and never change.... See you soon I Hope...
