What visitors say
Very cold screen spoiled the experience – staff response mixed The seats at Odeon Luxe are very comfortable, but unfortunately our experience in Screen 6 was completely ruined by how cold it was. It was absolutely freezing. I went to the desk during the film and asked if the heating could be put on. The female staff member said she would need to radio the manager, but I honestly don’t think this was ever done. The temperature never changed, and we spent the entire film tensed up from the cold. By the end, our muscles were genuinely sore. When leaving, my friend complained again to the same staff member, explaining how cold it had been. She didn’t really respond beyond a brief “sorry about that” and didn’t take any action. Another member of staff overheard us and immediately got the manager. The manager was really lovely and apologetic and said she hadn’t been aware of the issue (which suggests she was never told). She could clearly see how cold we were and very kindly gave us free tickets to return, which we appreciated. This is actually the second time this has happened. A few months ago we were also freezing for half a film, but on that occasion a staff member sorted the heating quickly and it became much more comfortable. Great seats and a nice manager, but Screen 6 being that cold really isn’t acceptable. I just hope it’s warmer next time.

Situated in EK shopping centre, across from the library. Tickets are bought at a touch screen machine or online. Machines are very simple to use. We were in screen 7, which is small, but still has plenty of room. Seats are reclining, in need of some repair, starting to show their age. No other issues, tickets are reasonably priced.

All the seats here are recliners - which is nice - though they are often in need of some repairs, with wonky revolving little tables, or upholstery that's falling off at the seams. Having said that though, we've never had a problem with any of the staff, they are usually very friendly and eager to help when asked, and have let us swap seats to other empty ones if we were unhappy with anything. Can't really fault them at all.
