We had my mother's funeral tea in the conservatory in the hotel. It was absolutely beautiful. Staff were lovely attentive and nothing a problem. I had mentioned that I didnt eat meat but didnt expect vegetarian sausage roll and separate sandwiches. Also we had requested some sandwiches without butter not a problem. My mum would have loved it. Excellent all round. Thank you for making my mums goodbye so special

My husband and I got married at The Torrance on 14/05/2026 and the staff were exceptional throughout. When we originally visited the venue in July 2023, we were shown round and given such a warm welcome from the Wedding team. We immediately knew this was the venue for our special day. Rebecca took care of us from 2024 right until our day and was always on hand to answer any questions or concerns we had throughout the years of planning. She explained things in a clear and concise manner, was kind and patient with us and you could tell she has a passion for wedding planning as we never felt rushed or dismissed. On the day, we had Anya as our wedding co-ordinator and Dominic as our Toast master - the level of care and consideration they both showed us throughout the entire day was absolutely exceptional. They kept us informed, calm and made sure we had time to ourselves. We could not be more thankful for them both. The venue itself is beautiful and has a calming, welcoming tone to it. The food is excellent, the rooms clean and comfortable and we could not ask for anything more. I highly recommend this venue for your special day, I can guarantee you will be well looked after!

Visited with my wife for the first time for Sunday lunch. Great location in East Kilbride village. We ate in the conservatory which was very comfortable. Food was delicious with friendly & efficient service from Olivia. Highly recommended.

Great location in the village east kilbride. Lovely hotel staff are very nice and breakfast is excellent. Only a few minutes walk to bars and restaurants as well as the train station.
