Hunstanton and the villages stretching east along the Norfolk coast—Wells-next-the-Sea, Blakeney, Holkham, Brancaster—all sit within easy reach of Allawah House. The beaches here range from wide sand to marshland and working quays; the narrow-gauge railway at Wells runs to the shore, Blakeney is known for crabbing, and the Sealife Centre and seasonal seal trips operate from Hunstanton itself. Inland, the countryside offers walking routes and quieter exploration away from the busier stretches.
The house itself is a detached property on a cul-de-sac, with four bedrooms and two bathrooms plus a separate ground-floor toilet. Upstairs: a kingsize with ensuite shower, a zip-and-link super kingsize (or twin singles), and two further single rooms. Downstairs, the living room has a 50-inch smart TV and Blu-ray player; the dining room opens to the garden; the kitchen has a full range of appliances including dishwasher and coffee machine. There's also a sunroom, utility room with washer and dryer, and garage parking for one vehicle plus additional spaces outside. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are provided. The enclosed rear garden has a patio, furniture and barbecue. One well-behaved pet stays free.
The property suits families and groups looking for a base to explore the coast without the bustle of a seafront location itself. No smoking indoors.

We have just returned from our two week holiday at fabulous Allawah House - our second stay. Allawah House is Five Star plus in every way and it is the best by far holiday home we have stayed in and we have stayed in many! This was a family holiday with grandchildren and dogs and the house is so well equipped for both. Toys and books for the little ones and a super huge safe garden for the little ones and doggies. I have never stayed anywhere so well equipped i usually take a bag with lots of kitchen things even cooking pans plus toilet rolls and here didn't need to take anything everything is amply provided. The house is immaculate and spotless with super comfy beds in all four bedrooms with quality bedding and towels. Kitchen is so well equipped for family meals and added bonus of a utility room which i find useful to keep dog food and bowls separate. Lounge is so comfy and spacious with a smart TV plus a sunny conservatory so lots of room for our family. The house is well situated a few minutes from a hotel with restaurant and bar which is dog friendly and serves excellent meals. Only five minutes drive to the coast road so very near to Norfolk's wonderful beaches and towns. We will be returning and cannot recommend this house enough.

Been to so many holiday cottages where the owners have obviuosly just thrown bits of furniture and crockery not wanted at Not here. Everything is quality and thought out. The kitchen is kitted out with everything , 8 or more of all crockery and glasses. Welcome pack included lovely cookies dog treats and plenty of coffee capsules ( not just 2 like many places ) . What a surprise to find a box of dishwasher tablets and washing liquid and basics like pepper, salt, milk all provided. ( these are normally another item lacking )The bedding is all luxury with comfortable beds. Nice to have EV charging and other things to make the stay pleasant, like sky tv, deco wifi units everywhere and night lights on landings and stairs. We couldn't fault anything or want for anything. The owners responded really quickly to e mails. We loved it, as did our golden doodle who always loves the beach walks. Will definitely return if it's ever available.

My husband, mini schnauzer Eddie and I have just returned from the MOST perfect holiday at the beautiful Allawah House in the pretty village of Sedgeford. We loved this property and location so much we have already booked a longer stay for next year. We have holidayed all around the Norfolk area for the last 14 years, so we've experienced alot of lovely holiday self catering accommodations - but this has absolutely been THE BEST ever! The property is located in a beautiful village with a great local pub literally across the road. It a tranquil and quite place with easy access to surrounding villages, pubs, shops and beautiful beaches. Allawah House is big, spacious, sparkling clean and beautifully presented inside and out. IT'S IMMACULATE! Each and every room is equipped so well and tastefully decorated. Beds are super big and comfy - we slept like a log. Big main bathroom is very light and bright and the showers in there and the en-suite were great. Additional benefits of a beautiful conservatory and a very handy utility room were also great for us. The kitchen is 100% the best equipped I have ever come across on any holiday - the owners have thought of everything. A huge and safe dog friendly garden which our dog loved. Great outdoor furniture for the better weather and an awning at the back to sit under if a little shower passes by. I cannot recommend Allawah House highly enough. We had the best and most relaxing holiday ever here.
