Cherry Ridge is a substantial detached house built with leisure in mind. The property spreads across two floors with five bedrooms and five bathrooms, accommodating ten guests across a range of bed configurations. Ground floor includes the main living spaces: an open-plan area with a 65-inch television, DVD and Blu-ray players, and French doors opening to a courtyard and garden beyond. The kitchen is equipped for serious cooking, with two electric ovens, hob, dishwasher and full refrigeration. A utility room handles laundry. Upstairs, the remaining bedrooms and a family bathroom complete the sleeping arrangements. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included; heating and electricity are provided.
What distinguishes Cherry Ridge is the indoor heated swimming pool integrated into the house itself, 4.5 metres by 11.5 metres and depth-adjustable from 0.9 to 1.5 metres, with Roman steps for entry. An external games room in the Cart Barn holds table tennis and table football. The half-acre garden offers patio space, furniture and a barbecue. A welcome pack greets arrivals, and bathrobes are provided. Private parking accommodates four cars.
The house works for family celebrations and group getaways rather than parties. It sits within landscaped grounds at the village edge, with countryside views nearby. The Great Bircham Social Club is close by.

Cherry Ridge (also known as The Beach House) is a beautiful house in gorgeous surroundings. I've stayed in similar properties before and this one was by far the best equipped. The pool was enjoyed by all, a really lovely room with views over the garden. We were blessed by great weather for our stay, so made use of the massive garden. Our toddler loved running laps around the big tree and daffodils and collecting sticks from the more woodland areas. The games room was also a hit with my teenage son and 10 year old daughter! The countryside location was wonderful. To my children's amazement we watched a baby deer walk through the garden a few times in the evenings and saw many deer, rabbits and hares playing in the field at the end of the garden. We also had lots of pheasants wandering around and a friendly ginger cat who came to say hello. It was lovely to have such a peaceful countryside retreat to enjoy. The location is great for trips to King's Lynn and for the children Hunstanton was good. We also took a trip to Wells-next-the-sea for some tasty fish and chips and to play in the sand. Matthew and Mark were very responsive to messages and went above and beyond to try to make our stay as good as possible. The house is clean with plenty of space. There were lots of bathrooms and showers and no issues with water pressure or problems with a few of us showering at the same time. The downstairs room was ideal for my parents with mobility issues and the seating was plentiful. I would definitely recommend this holiday let to others 😊

Lovely house to stay in and the pool was amazing 👏 Mattresses are pretty hard though and one of the shower trays leaked into the front hall a little bit, nice village to walk around and not to far a drive into Hunstanton for supplys

We stayed at Cherry Ridge cottage in July 2020 and can’t recommend it highly enough. From the start of booking process, communications with the owners were clear and prompt. We were sent a house manual well in advance so that we could prepare for a COVID-safe holiday. The cottage is located in a lovely quiet village and is surrounded by huge wheat-fields, the view from the garden is amazing. The property has just underwent a complete 5-star renovation and has everything: from a large, safe garden, fully equipped kitchen to tasteful furnishings and a lovely clean pool. There is also a separate games room with table tennis and table football, so there is plenty to do in any weather. A couple of small requests we had were dealt with immediately, the owners and the house manager, who is local, couldn’t do enough for us. We felt extremely welcome and will no doubt return. Thank you for making our holiday so memorable and enjoyable!

Well presented five bed holiday rental in North Norfolk. Good access to north of the county, three bathrooms, conservatory, indoor heated pool, large gardens. Near to windmill with bakery & cafe. Hotel serves food, cream teas and is opposite local shop with deli counter.
