Pentney Lakes is a tranquil spot in West Norfolk where water and woodland meet, and Malibu Lakehouse sits right at the water's edge. This log cabin sleeps ten across four bedrooms—two with kingsize beds and ensuite showers, one with two singles and a pull-out single, one with three singles—plus a family bathroom on the first floor. The whole property is yours alone, with parking for eight cars.
Downstairs, an open-plan living and dining space has bifold doors onto a decking area, a log burner for winter evenings, and a kitchen equipped for real cooking. There's a games room, a separate toilet, and a utility room with washing and drying facilities. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included; heating and hot water are covered too. One well-behaved pet stays free of charge. A hot tub overlooks the lake, and a private jetty gives direct access to the water. The back garden has seating and a barbecue; note there are two steps down to it.
Malibu suits large groups or multiple families wanting a full-sized home rather than a cramped cottage. The lake itself draws kayakers and swimmers; King's Lynn is fifteen minutes away for shops and restaurants. No smoking indoors.

Stayed here for a stag do with 9 people. The beds were comfortable and facilities clean, and the property accommodated us all easily. The area is nice and quiet for those who want a chilled base to explore the area. The house actually felt bigger than it looks in the photos which was a pleasant surprise. Excellent BBQ facilities and the hot tub is an added bonus on top. There is very little phone signal as the owner does clearly point out in adverts, but the wifi seemed to cope absolutely fine with all 9 of us connected.

If I could give this property 10 stars I would. We have just returned from a weekend away which was just perfect. The photos do not do this house justice not only was the house situated in a wonderful location it has everything you need. The house is well equipped inside and out, and is spotless clean. There is a lovely hot tub and BBQ area situated right next to the lake with plenty of outside seating. This house is perfect for a short break or for a longer stay. I would happily recommend and I'm looking forward to returning in the future. Thank you Malibu lake house for a fantastic weekend!

WOW! We have just got back from the most unbelievable weekend at Malibu Lakehouse, and I have to say it didn’t disappoint. We have stayed at several properties like this all over the country but have never been lucky enough to deal with an owner that is as amazing as Helen. From the initial booking to arrival at the property we were provided with all the information that we needed for a fantastic stay. Helen was unbelievably accommodating with any requests we had and communication ahead of our stay was impeccable. The pictures shown on the website don’t even do this little gem justice, it honestly felt like we were abroad – even with the British weather! We had a range of ages with us during our stay and there was honestly something for everyone. Everything in the house is to the highest spec to ensure that you have the most comfortable and enjoyable stay possible. It is extremely well equipped, and we never once felt like anything was missing. There are plenty of places to walk and things to see nearby or you may just choose to stay put and enjoy the stunning surroundings. The house was spotless when we arrived and the whole of the ground floor is open plan, so it gives a real feeling of togetherness and ensures that everyone is part of the stay. We will without a doubt be returning! Thanks again Helen you are a superb host and an overall beautiful person.

We have just stayed here with our two daughters and both sets of parents for a few days and used the house to host our wedding. What an absolutely beautiful home that took our breath away from the moment we walked in. On arrival there is ample parking for many cars, and it's very well signposted too. Coupled with excellent communication from the owners (who are absolutely lovely and always so quick to reply to any questions) we found our way to it and inside very quickly. As we stepped in we couldn't believe it was even more stunning and also even bigger than the photos showed! There was literally everything you could ever think of provided and more on top. All of the beds and sofas were super comfortable and there were more than enough showers/baths/toilets etc available. Also included were a fridge and freezer (with extra in the utility room), a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave and coffee machine. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could ever think of and need so cooking anything was never an issue, even for bigger numbers. On the day we hosted our wedding, we went out to Norwich Castle and came back with family and friends for our celebration afterwards - there were two sets of bifold doors opening up on the deck which meant nobody was segregated, and there was plenty of seating both out on the deck and indoors in the kitchen and living room, and not once did anyone feel cramped or like there was a lack of space. We had plenty of room in the kitchen and dining area for food and made use of the provided gas BBQ, which is under shelter should the weather turn. Our photographer was also absolutely stunned with the home and the surrounding location, and the home made a setting for beautiful photographs. There is also a large hot tub which is easy to use and very intuitive, and the owners are kind enough to provide two sets of instructions with it. The log burner was greatly appreciated in the evenings and there is a small log store also to collect more firewood should it be needed. In the utility room a few lawn games are also provided, and the children enjoyed the selection of games and DVDs on offer in the games room. There is a cafe/bar on site which also has a little shelf for essentials such as tea, milk and toilet paper, and a playground is opposite this too. In summary, a beautiful house in which the owners go above and beyond to ensure it is everything you could ever need for your stay. The communication was fantastic and we really couldn't fault a single thing from both the house and the owners. We were already talking about rebooking before we'd even left!
