About Norfolk Woods Resort & Spa
Norfolk Woods Resort & Spa is a lodge-based resort suited to couples and families wanting a break with more comfort than traditional camping. The lodges come with hot tubs and comfortable beds, and the site has a swimming pool, spa facilities, and woodland walks on the grounds. There is a bistro on site (just a few steps away) serving food, plus a shop with reasonably priced goods.
Facilities include showers, and the staff are known for being helpful. The main drawback some guests have encountered is that maintenance of the lodges can be patchy, so it is worth checking the condition when you arrive. What visitors say
Rooms were good, although only 1 loo roll supplied for our 3 night stay. Hot tub was great, although instructions would have been helpful for other items in the lodge. I believe the wine cooler was broken, it never chilled. Bathrobes are supplied £3.50 each cash only, why not a card option? Restaurant had good quality food and service was thoughtful. Only one pool table was usable and I have never seen pool cues in a worse condition anywhere else before - all broken.

We booked a lodge here for 4 nights. It's worth noting that you can't get checked in till exactly 4pm but there is a nice bar and sitting area should you arrive too early as we did!! Lovely clean site with 120 lodges in total. There is an impressive swimming pool, spa, bar and restaurant and a small provsions shop which was very sensible priced for basics. This is a dog friendly site with a small forest walk which was ideal for a quick walk, dogs have to be kept on lead at all times though. We stayed in a two bed Oxburgh number 36, dog friendly, it was spacious, modern decore and very warm with plenty of hot water, an ensuite and another bathroom, very comfortable beds. Overall the lodge was quite clean with the exception of the radiator tops that desperately needed taking apart and cleaning. There are several scuffs here and there pretty much what you would expect with wear and tear. Kitchen equipment is the bare minimum, a few more serving dishes would be helpful but we managed ok. A nice quite site ideally positioned to visit North Norfolk and we will definitely be returning again soon. A great place to visit nearby is Castle Acre 👍👍

Norfolk Woods resort provided a lovely atmosphere and relaxing place to stay. Facilities, staff and lodges were good. The park is little off the beaten track but still a great place to go for families and couples for that well deserved get away.

Spent a long weekend here with my pregnant partner this past weekend gone. What a lovely quiet and friendly site with everything you could want for a lovely relaxing break. Check in was easy and the friendly receptionist gave us a map to show us exactly where our lodge was. Lodge was well equipped, clean and comfortable. We were both very impressed with the bathroom in the Lodge ( Bircham ) for the price to get an offering of a stand alone deep bath and a walk in rainfall shower is great. Facilities are great and my partner enjoyed two spa treatments whilst here which she said were lovely. Would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a quiet break or a nice break away with family. we've both come home refreshed and feeling like the only bad thing was having to leave. we will be back, thank you for a fantastic much needed break. Ronnie & Maeve 🙂
