Photo: Sedgeford Hall Estate - Norfolk Group Accommodation

Larger groups and families wanting genuine space will find The West Wing on a working farmland estate near the Norfolk coast. This seven-bedroom house sleeps 15 and occupies one wing of Sedgeford Hall, a Queen Anne-era property set within 1,200 acres of grounds that include lakes, woods and walking routes. The interior is styled as a luxury rental with separate living and dining areas suited to entertaining, plus a woodburner for winter months.

Ground-floor bedrooms and bathrooms mean easier access for some guests. Upstairs, the layout spreads across further bedrooms and a family bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with an electric range, dishwasher and necessary appliances. Essentials like bed linen, towels and wifi are included; heating is biomass central with wood for the burner provided initially. An enclosed garden with terrace, furniture and barbecue is yours to use, and the estate's six-acre shared gardens offer more outdoor space. Private parking accommodates ten cars. One dog is welcome at no extra cost.

The property sits a few miles from Hunstanton and the wider coast, within reach of Burnham Market, Brancaster and several large country estates. An indoor heated swimming pool on the wider Sedgeford Hall estate is available to guests on a rota basis, with private sessions bookable separately. No smoking is permitted inside.

I would recommend this place for large families, we had a wonderful time with plenty of space. I would advise the TV has no live channel so Netflix, Prime Video or Disney is your only options. *****

Had the best long weekend with the family in Park Cottage! The house had everything you could need and more. The gardens and grounds are beautiful and everything is 10mins away. The pool access was great, clean and warm. Would stay again and highly recommend. TIP: It was cheaper to book direct despite finding the property on Hoseasons

Spent a weekend celebrating a 50th birthday with friends and we had the entire main house all to ourselves. WowWee stunning 🤩 Fun fact: the main house is so large that it took approximately 7 minutes speed walking indoors from room to room - a leisurely wander around entire main house, orangery and gardens 20 minutes! Loved this house, especially the huge kitchen! So many gushing positives - huge house, huge rooms, beautiful surroundings, indoor swimming pool, courtyard garden terrace with large ornamental pond, total privacy despite cottages speckled across the estate. Loved it and happily would return.

We recently organised a small family wedding here and the house was perfect, and all the team who look after it went out of their way to accommodate us. We rented out the main hall and theatre, plus the west wing which they opened up so the entire building was available to us. The kids loved swimming in the pool every day, and having it to ourselves with our own time slot was such a treat. There is so much room to break off into smaller groups, but also lovely big spaces for big family meals, and room to host a 30 person wedding. The gardens are beautiful, they're so peaceful, so well looked after and surround the house. you feel like you've been whisked back 100 years and are a grand noble family living the life, whilst also having some modern comforts throughout the home.
