Fabulous Family Friendly Campsite - Just back from a 5 day tent stay on electric pitch. Location is ideal with gorgeous views of the bay and close to Kirkcudbright for shops, food etc... Site facilities were clean and functional, outdoor heated pool was a big hit with the kids and the adults and with the good weather it felt like we could have been abroad. Small park, football pitch, games room and TV room were ideal for the kids to enjoy and play together also. We will definitely be back to this site, it is a wee gem in the South of Scotland. Also big shout out to the Warden, Fiona, who couldn't have been more helpful and 100% made our stay more enjoyable - Thank you, you are a credit to your employer!!!

We are just back from a fantastic stay at Seaward Caravan Park. The park was incredibly peaceful and tranquil, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The toilets and shower facilities were spotless and very well maintained throughout our stay. As was serviced pitches. The views across the Solway Firth are absolutely stunning and really make this site special. A big thank you as well to Stuart and Fiona on reception, who were both so friendly, welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. Would definitely recommend and we’ll certainly be back again

Didn't stay here, just visited friends stopping here for a week as they explored the area and used it as a base. The park is kept very well maintained, clean & tidy. Great views over the estuary and small beach at the front near entrance. Lovely heated swimming pool, Static caravans, Camping Pods, Touring caravan, Campervan and Motorhome serviced pitches. Small shop on site. Spoke with owners who explained what accomodation was available as when I looked on the website I could only see Pitches and a few pods, but there is a lot more availsble. Good to know for next trip down that way. Nice place & People. 2.5 miles approx from Kirkcudbright town centre for a good selection of Shops, Pubs, Hotwls, Restaurants, Cafes, Marina, Petrol Station and other Facilities.

I was solo camping and felt very safe. The location was stunning. Owners friendly. Facilities were so clean and fresh. The non-electric pitches are a bit of a stretch from the loos etc, but it wouldn't stop me going back. Things I read in other reviews prior to going: pool all green - there was a beautiful pool in use. Weather was great, so very busy and I had hoped to catch an early or late swim but it was only open 11-6. The other reviewer must have been out of season or something. I think someone else mentioned some facilities looking tired, but really not! Thank you for a smashing mini break. I hope to visit again.
