We camped here for a couple of nights. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Facilities were beautifully clean, and convenient. Hope to return in the near future. Campsite was charming, relaxing, and peaceful with lovely big pitches. It was on a regenerative farm (going organic), which seemed to be increasing the biodiversity of the area making it superb to watch the wildlife. Wonderful views over the Solway. Couldn't fault it. Plenty to do locally: Beaches, cycling, sauna, walks. Very close to towns of interest.

This campsite is a real gem. Camping as it should be. The whole site has been well thought out and is extremely well run. Communication prior to and during our stay was first class and the owners very friendly and helpful. Clean, well maintained facilites, a choice of generous, level pitches and a welcome picnic table at each pitch. We didn't use the fire pit as it was warm but would be fabulous in cooler weather. We liked that the grass pitches had their own area. Such a peaceful site too with dark skies and a little bay a short walk away. Within easy driving distance of both Kirkcudbright and Gatehouse of Fleet as well as many coastal walks and bigger beaches. EV charger was a real bonus for overnight charge. I'm certain we'll return many times!

A real hidden gem. Fantastic views and only a short walk down to a quiet cove. Pitches were allocated which made it easy to turn up whenever, plenty of space on each pitch, showers were hot, a couple of facilities blocks so they were never busy. Staff so friendly and welcoming.

Stayed here for 3 nights in April 26, brilliant wee family campsite set in a picturesque area. It's set in a working farm in Galloway and Dumfries. Neill and his family are very welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. Facilities are excellent and include everything you would need from toilets and showers to EV charging point and a toolkit for cyclists as well as a laundry and covered clothes line for drying. Firepits are available and logs and kindling etc are on sale at reasonable rates. Neill is rewilding his land and the results can be clearly seen, it's refreshing to stay on a site where the natural environment is prioritised.In summary one of the best places we have stayed, will definitely visit again and have no hesitation recommending this site to friends and anyone looking for a stay in this area.
