Holme Valley Cottage is a traditional end-terrace property built from stone, positioned on high ground where it commands views across the valley, fields and woodland. The location puts you at the fringe of the Peak District National Park, close enough to Holmfirth's centre for shops, restaurants and bars—about a 20-minute walk or five minutes by car—yet far enough out to feel removed from town bustle. One dog is welcome here.
The cottage has two bedrooms: a double and a kingsize. Downstairs, the living and dining space comes with a smart TV and gas fire; the kitchen has an electric cooker, fridge and washing machine for self-catering stays. Upstairs is a single bathroom with shower over the bath. Essentials like heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included. The back garden offers a patio and seating area; two cars can park on the driveway. Note that the garden has six steps, and there are two steps up to the front entrance.
The surrounding area draws walkers and cyclists—public footpaths cross the moorland, reservoir walks are nearby, and sections of the Tour de Yorkshire route pass through. Booth House Gallery & Pottery lies within reach for those interested in contemporary work. A pub sits within a mile's walk.
