Shelduck Cottage

Shelduck Cottage is a recently renovated stone cottage sleeping seven across four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Built to blend period character with modern comfort, it sits in the Holme Valley near Holmfirth, with the countryside spreading out across its windows. The hot tub on the terrace catches the best of the views; the upstairs living room has floor-to-ceiling windows and doors opening onto the garden.

Downstairs holds a kitchen with electric cooker and dishwasher, plus a bedroom with en-suite bath. Upstairs there is a living room with wood-burner and smart TV, three further bedrooms (one a four-poster, one zip-and-link that can split into singles, one single), and a bathroom with bath and shower. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included; the wood-burner has initial fuel provided. There is private parking for one car and an electric vehicle charging point. One dog is welcome at no extra cost. The cottage is non-smoking.

A travel cot and highchair are available if you ask. The garden has 14 steps down to a lower seating area, patio and barbecue. The nearest landmark is Holme Valley Travel.
