About Cottons Hotel & Spa
Cottons Hotel & Spa sits on Manchester Road at the edge of Knutsford, close enough to the town centre for an evening walk in but set within its own grounds and surrounded by open countryside. The hotel's rooms mix modern furnishings with a generally relaxed, business-friendly feel, and the property is a popular choice for both leisure breaks and conferences.
The restaurant has held AA rosettes for its cooking, and the spa includes a pool, thermal suite and treatment rooms, making Cottons as much a destination for a spa day as an overnight stay. Its position just off the A50 and close to junction 19 of the M6 gives easy access to Tatton Park, the town centre and Manchester Airport.
The combination of dependable four-star comfort, genuine dining and full spa facilities makes Cottons a solid mid-to-upper choice for visitors who want more amenities than a town-centre inn can offer without travelling as far out as the area's country estate hotels.

Nice hotel, great food and pleasant efficient staff. We booked a Premier suite. When we arrived the air con wasn't working 32C outside 35C in the room. We complained and got moved to room 304 no probs. Room was very nice, couple of niggles, toilet seat loose and a twin wall socket loose otherwise spot on. They don't make up your room every day unless you scan a QR code and request it before 10am We also got caught out - no flannels but otherwise everything is there. On each floor there is dispensers for free milk and free chilled water which is a nice touch. We got some every morning and kept it in our mini bar. Food is good prices are as expected we paid £125 for two dining, eating 3 courses with one glass of prosecco. Breakfasts are £20 but they finish on weekdays at 9:30am We went to the garden centre next door. Ate at 10am which suited us better and half the price. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

The hotel exceeded all our expectations. We'd chosen Cottons mainly because it was a central location to meet, and met our criteria of having a pool etc, so hadn't really given much thought to the hotel itself. But we're so glad we ended up at Cottons! What really made it stand out from other hotels was definitely the staff - every staff member we interacted with was absolutely excellent. Particular shout out to Arran (I think that was his name) who looked after us in the restaurant onSaturday evening - he was exceptional. We used the pool, sauna, jacuzzi pools etc from around 3.30pm - 6pm and there was plenty of room even though it was a busy day, really nice vibe in the outdoor area as it was very warm and sunny. Some of the other reviews mention the pool being very busy with young children - there were a few children around after 4pm but they did not disrupt our enjoyment of the facilities, and the pool etc remained pretty quiet - we had it to ourselves by 6pm. From the moment we arrived (our rooms were upgraded - thanks!) to check out, everything was brilliant. The Spa facilities were spotless, the food in the restaurant was great, and as I said the staff were fantastic - whatever you're doing, keep doing it! Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone. We did the dinner, bed & breakfast deal - fantastic value.

We have had a great stay the Cotton's hotel and spa. Staff are friendly, professional and happy to help. Rooms and facilities are clean and well presented. Spa facilities are great and massage treatment by Beth was brilliant. Spa stay and dine package deal was great value for money, would definitely recommend!

The Spa at Cottons. I booked in for a head, neck and shoulder massage. I was greeted by the friendly staff and instantly felt relaxed and welcome. The spa reception is very inviting with refreshments provided and a lovely seating area with subdued lighting and tranquil music. The treatment, provided by Sharon, was divine. It was total relaxation and I almost drifted off to sleep. I was given time to get comfy prior to the treatment, time to get dressed on completion and then Sharon brought me some light refreshments which I took to the lounge area to enjoy. I will definitely be back soon.
