Friendly and helpful staff.. Struggled with my mobility, and they really helped me.. Lovely outside Terrace at the back in a real sun trap, with ample patio umbrellas if needed. Nice cold Lager and BBQ on the terrace serving great good . I had a lovely Cheeseburger and chips. Full menu available if needed.. Thoroughly recommended .. 5* all round .. x The Bigfella x Plus .. great to see Planes on approach to Manchester airport. Not loud enough to disturb conversation, but ideal if you like planes

Fab stay at Rose & Crown. Service and breakfast were first rate. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Great, central location. The only slight let-down was the room, which was a little tired and incredibly hot. Not that the climate is the fault of the hotel, but rather the fossil fuel industry.

Superb. Alice and the team were super attentive and professional. Chicken livers for starters and chicken supreme hit the spot. Absolutely Lush. Great atmosphere. The evening topped off with a live Indi band. Wonderful evening.
