Campground in Lancashire with showers, playground, bouncy slide and revvi track for children.
About Leisure Lakes
Leisure Lakes is a campground in Mere Brow, near Preston, built around a strong facilities block and activity focus. The site has showers and a notably activity-heavy setup: a playground, bouncy slide and revvi track keep children occupied, while there is a pub on site with entertainment. The nearby Leisure Lakes Bikes shop (next door) and Avos Watersports Den up the road add to what is available locally.
The atmosphere can be lively and noisy rather than quiet. Staff are reported to be friendly and helpful, and prices are reasonable. Facilities are kept clean. The site suits families with children looking for daytime entertainment and activities rather than a peaceful retreat.

Beautiful campsite. highly recommend. Everywhere was kept really clean and so friendly. Staff and security 10/10. Couldn’t be any more helpful, they was amazing. Really good prices all around the site, Beautiful views around of the lakes and lovely dog walking spots. My son loved the park which was also very clean, with a shop nearby with outdoor toys, once again really good prices. Only noise we heard was kids laughing which quietened down early and only near the park really. So once your the other side of campsite it’s nice and peaceful. My partner bought his bike along for the mx track on the Sunday. Was a brilliant weekend. We will definitely be returning. I would give more stars if I could!

didn’t hate the site, but won’t be returning. We stayed for 3 nights, on arrival my parents had picked our two pitches. The ground in front of the pitch unsafe, uneven and included a huge hole which was a serious hazard in itself. With having a 1 year old and 2 year old this was such an inconvenience. Secondly and the one that made me never want to return is evening, early hours. First night we stayed there was a group of people partying until gone 3am. Music was so loud with then the added number of people trying to shout over it. Like mentioned I had a 1 year old, 2 year old and 6 year old. I didn’t sleep until gone 3am the first night, there was no one around to tell them to be quiet, no one to ring. It was awful. Next day we spoke to the owner who I must say is lovely and gave me her number in case anything happened the second night which luckily it went quiet around midnight (even though the rules are 11). Our last night again partying until gone 1am, I text the owner but no response. There are also rules about no electric bikes or scooters however there are kids everywhere on them, nearly knocking my 1 year old over. Site just seems very Chavy and just a money maker. We won’t be returning. However other amenities and the staff were lovely (playground, lake, bouncy slide).
