Churchtown- Sunnyside Cottage

Churchtown is a quiet historic village on Sefton's northern edge, close enough to Southport for its beach, shops and pubs yet far enough to feel separate. Sunnyside Cottage sits here as a single-storey terraced property, everything on one level and accessible from the street. Two guests get a double bedroom, wet room with shower, combined living and dining space with a woodburner, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are included; initial logs for the fire come with it too.

The cottage opens onto an enclosed courtyard garden with a sitting area. A pub is within a mile's walk. The wider area offers coastal paths, specialist village shops and cafes, while Southport town centre with its Victorian Lord Street lies about thirty minutes on foot. Royal Birkdale golf course, Formby's rare red squirrels, and birdwatching along the coast are all nearby. Further afield, Liverpool is roughly an hour by car, and the Lake District or Ribble Valley about the same. One well-behaved pet stays free. Smoking is not permitted inside.
