A straightforward city-centre base in Leeds for travellers who want a comfortable, no-fuss stay with breakfast and parking included.

About Brookfield Hotel

Brookfield Hotel suits visitors after a practical, unfussy stay rather than a destination in itself, offering a central Leeds base with easy reach of the city's transport links and attractions. It works well for those on business trips, weekend visits or simply passing through, who want somewhere comfortable without extra frills.

Rooms are kept simple and understated, each with an en-suite bathroom, drinks provided in the room, and family rooms available for those travelling with children. Free WiFi runs throughout, and staff are on hand around the clock at the 24 hour reception. A free full English breakfast is included each morning, and free parking is provided too, a useful bonus for anyone arriving by car in the city centre.

Beyond the hotel itself, guests have a pub or bar, restaurants and eateries all nearby, along with entertainment options for evenings out. Those wanting to get outdoors will find golf and fishing within reach as well. It is a modest hotel rather than a luxury one, but it covers the essentials reliably for guests who prioritise location and value.

Great first time experience. If you need a simple, comfortable, and safe place to stay while you're travelling for work, then this is the spot! Gentlemen working the desk was really friendly, the room was clean and well taken care of, and it's within a great distance for food and travel. The best part was the comfy bed, never slept so well! If you're a woman travelling for work, then I can vouch for its safety. The front door is only opened by the owner or by guests with a code, and the place is clearly well monitored. Doors are heavy and bolted, and the front desk is a quick call away. Room offers a great shower, kettle (which is the most important), and space to work or eat. If you need other amenities, there's a garage right next door or a shopping centre less than 15 minutes away. Overall, I highly rate it. It's perfect for a quick stopover and, If I make it to that part of Leeds again, I know exactly where I'll be going! 5/5

I wasn't sure how this place would be after reading previous reviews. The room was lovely and comfortable. The main reception is a bit dated and dull. The only drawback was no breakfast. I was awoken at 3:45am by someone slamming their door next to us, so I wouldn't recommend this place for families. But sadly this wasn't the hotel's fault. Cheap and cheerful.

Budget is being kind. walked in the hotel, stale cigarette smell. Like really bad. Hotel was not very clean. Room was ok, but poorly kept. No food, no toiletries, shower leaked all over the floor, lights flickered on and off. Room was cold, then heating came on for an hour and it got too hot. Single glazed windows allowed the rumbling traffic to be heard easily. Staff were friendly though.

£65 fir a triple room. Service was good with tea and coffee available but room could definitely do with a makeover. Shower room was less than desirable. Black mould on tiles which just needs bleach and a toothbrush and there was a smell. Towels also had an odour. Large room with TV with lots of sockets. Curtains were slightly short and one end had come off the ring but too high too be able to reach. If you after cheap then this is ok but not for us. Sure there is better out there.
