About The Boundary Hotel

Step into one of the 21 rooms at The Boundary Hotel and the first thing you'll notice is the bed, consistently singled out as one of the more comfortable parts of the stay. That said, some rooms show their age more than others, with a few guests finding the decor and fittings could do with more attention, so it's worth knowing standards vary from room to room.

Where the hotel makes up ground is in the everyday running of things. Staff are described as genuinely helpful, and breakfast is a proper full English rather than an afterthought. There's a bar on site for an evening drink, free WiFi throughout, and 24-hour reception for whatever time you arrive. Free on-site parking is included, useful given the Leeds location, and pets are welcome if you're travelling with one. Meeting rooms are also available for anyone combining the stay with work.

The address on Cardigan Road puts guests within reach of nearby pubs, restaurants and other eateries, with entertainment options close by too. It's a straightforward base for exploring Leeds, priced and positioned as good value, with the caveat that the rooms themselves are more functional than polished.

Great little budget hotel - as the price suggests, very much on the cheap and cheerful spectrum. The decor is definitely tired and worn, but the room was clean - a comfy bed, fluffy towels, hot shower and a decent tea & coffee tray. The breakfast was freshly cooked and excellent value at £7 and the staff were really helpful. Overall perfect for a short budget stay.

Suberb little place to stay, situated very close to Headingly Stadium. Bus stops close by to get you in to Leeds City Centre or the other way to Ilkley. We had a lovely room with en suite that had a bath which was great to use after running the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon, but I did have to ask for heating to be put on as it was a cold room on the evenings, management supplied me with a plug in heater which was great. We enjoyed breakfast on all 3 mornings that we were there, which was a choice of Full English or part of, toast and butter, jam, marmalade or Marmite. Tea and coffee which was help yourself, also with Orange or Apple Juice. All staff were great and extremely helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here and have already booked in to stay for the weekend of the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon 2027

To be honest my five star review is based as usual on the money i paid: 34€ in June for a small but cozy and exterior room with a wash basin. You can walk to city centre for about 25/30 minutes or take a bus wich leaves you pretty much at the hotel door, the interior of the building was certainly not in the best of shapes but the lady at the reception greeted me with a smile when i arrived and when i left and that's a 5 star service sometimes you don't get in fancier places, also the room was clean so taking into account the sheer increase in accomodation prices all over the world the mere existance of places like this have to be well appreciated and certainly i do.

It’s a really good value for the price. The bed and the bathroom seemed kind of clean. The rest… Not really. I had to ask them every day to turn on the heating, because on the first night they didn’t and I caught a cold. Overall it was an ok experience for an emergency situation.
