About Brooklyn Grange Farm
Set on a working dairy farm at the southern edge of the Peak District, Brooklyn Grange Farm is a wonderfully back-to-basics spot with sweeping views over fishing pools, meadows and the craggy heights of The Roaches. The well-stocked farm shop sells everything from local bacon and cheese to barbecue meats, while the Milk Barn serves ice cream, milkshakes and fresh milk. Firepits are available to hire, and you're welcome to light up a barbecue as long as it's off the grass. Catch-and-return fishing is on offer at the site's ponds (for a fee; Environment Agency licence required), and hiking trails thread through the national park just a mile away.
Facilities are functional rather than luxurious – there's one bookable shower (for an extra charge) and a basic toilet block, which can feel stretched at busy times. Still, the warm welcome, beautiful scenery and genuine farm atmosphere more than make up for it. The market town of Leek is five minutes' drive for restaurants and cafés, with a village pub an easy ten-minute walk away.

What visitors say
Nice campsite with very friendly and lovely staff. The location and overall atmosphere were great, and we enjoyed our stay. The only reason for the low rating is the shower and toilet situation. There is only one shower available for what felt like a campsite with capacity of 200–300 people and it had to be booked it in advance. We stayed during very hot weather and unfortunately weren’t able to get a shower at all. Hopefully feedback like this encourages the campsite to improve the facilities, as adding more showers and toilets would make a huge difference to the overall experience.

Camp grounds were lovely with lake view. However very windy making the smell of the cowshed whiff. Extra charge for a single shower was meh - u had to book time and hope the next person was out or find the keys the owner didn’t have sometimes, toilets were meh. Lovely farm shop though

Stayed here for one night and the experience was great. The staff in the shop are very friendly and it was £5 to rent a fire pit (£20 deposit). The shop has everything you need. The views around the site are amazing. It could be done with some more showers but for one night it’s ideal.

Beautiful camping site, went a few years back but forgot where my friends had booked, nice and easy access on and off the campsite and a friendly farmshop next to a farm. The views are stunning and plenty of walks also in driving distance and walking distance.
