Perfect place for a walk, can explore for hours. Roaming deer and peacocks, great views. For the part we walked today we pit stopped at the café after about an hour from the start. A little pricey but plenty of options and alternatively bringing your own picnic would be a popular choice with so much space to choose from. Parking price for under 4 hours was £4, able to pay via card. The book donation wagon is a lovely idea. Able to donate with cash or card and prices are clearly stated. 100% worth visiting for everyone to enjoy.

The park is just beautiful, there’s a huge lake next to it and the landscapes are just surreal. When you go a bit further into the park you’ll also get a chance to see deers which is the highlight of the park. My recent experience was just amazing. Would definitely go again.

Loved this park! Sooo so beautiful to have a nice walk or picnic if the weather holds up. There’s so many ways different routes you can walk, and there’s a nice little cafe you can have lunch or a coffee at. The deer are so beautiful and calm and there’s lots of wildlife around. Highly recommend for a nice day out either alone or with a group/family.

We had so much fun we went twice in a week. So much to see the river, the deer, rocks to climb, old John to walk up to, the Museum we had a really hot sunny day and really enjoyed being outdoors in nature.
